When it comes to careers, most people are aware that the medical field is in need of skilled professionals, particularly nurses. There’s a shortage of good teachers, so education is a great field to get into when looking into careers. And of course, with the way computers are now present in every aspect of our lives, computers and related-fields are booming. But also, finance is a booming sector, with job prospects for professionals like accountants, financial analysts and managers, investment analysts and other similar jobs are expected to grow.
But what about other jobs—jobs that might not take a 2- or 4-year degree to get? Jobs in the beauty profession are always available, with hairstylists and nail technicians who have training in demand. These careers can be yours after a short education at a beauty college. Massage therapy is also another career that’s starting to take off, with more and more people taking the short amount of training required to become certified in this field.
Jobs in hospitality are expected to grow as well, including jobs for people who work in hotels, motels and resorts as well as restaurant staff and managers. While there are courses available for some of these jobs, many are entry-level jobs, as well.
